SAUCE/MEATBALLS With PASTA

Ingredients

For sauce
Canned crushed tomatoes 28 Ounce
Canned tomato puree 28 Ounce
Canned tomato sauce 56 Ounce
Canned tomato paste 6 Ounce
Oregano 2 Tablespoon
Basil leaves 2 Tablespoon
Parsley 2 Tablespoon
Salt and pepper To Taste
Red pepper 1 Teaspoon, crushed
White sugar 2 Tablespoon
Romano cheese 4 Ounce
Onion 1 , diced
Red bell pepper 1 , diced
Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), minced
Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
For meatballs
Ground beef 5 Pound
Eggs 2
Red bell pepper 1 Large, diced (or 2 small bell pepper)
Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), diced
Bread crumbs 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs), divided
For garlic bread
French bread 1⁄2
Butter 1 Tablespoon
Granulated garlic salt 1 Tablespoon
Parsley flakes 1 Teaspoon

Directions

For Meatballs
GETTING READY
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.MAKING
2. For sauce – In a large vessel, add in crushed tomatoes, tomato puree, tomato sauce and tomato paste. Place on low heat and let it simmer.
3. Season with oregano, basil leaves, parsley, salt and pepper, red pepper and white sugar. Stir well.
4. Add in the romano cheese and stir well.
5. In a shallow pan, heat olive oil and add in the onion. Sauté for a few minutes.
6. Add in the red bell pepper and let it cook for a few seconds.
7. Stir in the garlic and stir all the ingredients. Let it cook until translucent.
8. Add in the onion mixture to the sauce and let it simmer.
9. For meatballs – in a large bowl, add in ground beef, eggs, red bell pepper, onion and garlic.
10. Stir in bread crumbs in small portions and mix well with hands.
11. Season the meat with salt and pepper and mix well.
12. Make meatballs of desired sizes and place in a baking sheet.
13. Bake in oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes turn the meatballs and bake for another 15 minutes.
14. Take out the meatballs and place one by one into the sauce. Let it simmer for 6 hours on low heat.SERVING

For Garlic Bread
MAKING
1. In a small bowl, add in the butter, garlic salt and parsley flakes. Mix well.
2. Spread the butter mixture over the bread and broil for a few minutes.

SERVING
3. Slice the garlic bread and serve along with meatballs.
