Refried Beans

 

 

This is a simple yet flavorful recipe for you to make your own refried beans.
Ingredients
Pinto bean 16 Ounce, rinsed
Chicken broth 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Water 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Purple onion 1 , diced finely
Bacon slices 5 , browned and sliced
Directions
MAKING

1. Put pinto beans in a pot. Pour chicken broth and water on the beans.

2. Put it on the burner, add onions and let the beans come to boil. Reduce to simmer and cook.

3. Add more water if needed. Stir at regular intervals. Add bacon to beans as well.

4. Cook for about 2 hours. Transfer half the beans to a bowl and set them aside.

5. With a hand blender mush up the remaining beans.

6. Place the beans back on the gas. Let them cook a little bit more.

7. Season with salt and pepper.

SERVING

8. Serve the beans with rice and enjoy.
