QUICHE

 

Ingredients

Leek 1 Large, diced
Eggs 6
Half and half 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Salt and pepper To Taste
Parsley flakes 1 Teaspoon
Monterey jack and cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Frozen pie shell 1

Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Fill a large bowl with water and add in the leeks. Let it sit for some time to remove the dirt.MAKING
3. In a bowl, place the eggs and beat with a fork. While beating continuously pour in the half and half.
4. Season the mixture with salt, pepper and parsley flakes.
5. Drain the leeks and add in the eggs, followed by cheese blend and mix well.
6. Pour the batter into the pie shell and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.

SERVING
7. Slice the quiche and serve with green salad.
