LINGUINE with CREAMY CHICKEN SAUCE

Ingredients
Butter 1 Tablespoon
Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm), diced
Chicken breast 4
Salt and pepper To Taste
Green onion 8 , diced diagonally
Vegetable broth 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Heavy whipping cream 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Parmesan cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
FOR THE LINGUINI
Kosher salt 1 Tablespoon (Boiled in salt water)
Linguine 1 Pound

 

Directions
MAKING
1. In a pan, heat together butter and olive oil. Add in the garlic and sauté for a few minutes.
2. Add in the chicken breast and season with salt and pepper. Flip it and season from other side. Cover the chicken and cook on medium heat until brown. Again flip and let it brown from other side.
3. Take out from the pan and slice the chicken diagonally and set aside.
4. Into the same pan, add in the green onion and cook until tender.
5. Pour in the broth and simmer for 10 minutes.
6. Add in the heavy whipping cream, followed by Parmesan. Simmer for a few minutes.
7. For linguine – in a large pot, boil water and season with salt. Add in the linguine and cook according to the package direction.
8. Drain the pasta and set aside.

SERVING
9. In a serving plate, take out the linguine and top with chicken sauce. Garnish with some salt, pepper and green onion and serve.
