LEMON BARS

Fast and easy way to make home made LEMON BARS!! YUM YUM!!!

 

Ingredients
FOR CRUST:

Cooking spray 1

Butter 8 Tablespoon

Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)

Salt 1 Pinch

Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
FOR TOPPING:

Flour 3 Tablespoon

Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Eggs 3

Grated lemon zest 2 Teaspoon

Fresh lemon juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

Powdered sugar 3 Tablespoon (for dusting)

 

Directions
GETTING READY:

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Line baking dish with aluminium foil and spray cooking spray over it.
MAKING:

In a pan, melt butter until brown.
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, melted butter, vanilla extract and mix well.
Transfer the mixture into lined baking dish and press well to form crust. Pop into oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
For topping, combine flour, sugar, eggs in a large bowl and mix well.
Add lemon zest, lemon juice and mix well.
Pour the mixture over the baked crust and pop into oven.
Bake for 20-25 minutes at 300°F.
Allow to cool completely and dust with powdered sugar over top.
SERVING:

Serve and enjoy!
