ITALIAN HERB BREAD

 

This Italian Herb Bread is so good. Nothing like Home made. The whole house smells awesome!! Thanks for watching! ENJOY!

 

Ingredients

Fast acting yeast 1⁄2 Ounce

Sugar 2 Tablespoon

Warm water 2 Cup (32 tbs) (110 degrees)

Olive oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)

Salt 1 Tablespoon

Oregano 1 Tablespoon

Basil 1 Tablespoon

Seasoned salt 1 Tablespoon

Parmesan romano cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

Flour 6 Cup (96 tbs)

 

Directions
GETTING READY:

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease loaf pans with cooking spray.
MAKING:

In an electric mixer, combine yeast, sugar, water and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
In another bowl, combine olive oil, oregano, salt,basil, seasoned salt and mix well.
Allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes and add cheese. Mix well.
Add 3 cups of flour to electric mixer gradually to the mixture followed by herb mixture.
When the ingredients are well combined add remaining flour. Transfer to a work area and knead well.
Once done, place the dough into olive oil greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth and allow to rest for a while until it doubles in size.
Divide the dough into two portions and transfer to loaf pan as shown in the video.
Cover with a damp cloth and allow to rise for 30 minutes.
Pop into oven and allow to bake for 30-35 minutes.
Allow to cool completely before slicing.
