FUDGE, Cookie Dough Fudge ( Friendship day)

 

This recipe is so simple and quick to make. An excellent treat to give to your friends for “FRIENDSHIP DAY”

Ingredients
FOR COOKIE DOUGH:
Butter stick 1
Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (plus 3 tablespoon)
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Pinch
Heavy whipping cream 2 Tablespoon
Flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Cooking oil spray 1
Mini morsels 1 Cup (16 tbs) (plus extra for topping)
FOR FUDGE:
Brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Salt 1 Pinch
Heavy whipping cream 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Powdered sugar 5 Cup (80 tbs), divided
Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon

Directions
GETTING READY:

Grease the aluminium foil tray tin with cooking oil spray.
MAKING:

In a large bowl, whisk butter and sugar until it turns fluffy.
Add brown sugar, vanilla extract, salt, whipping cream and mix well.
Add flour to this mixture and mix well with a fork.
For the fudge mix, combine brown sugar, salt, whipping cream and heat in a low to medium flame with continuous whisking in a saucepan.
Once the sugar melts, slowly add powdered sugar and mix well. Remove the saucepan from heat and tip in vanilla extract. Mix well.
Mix the cookie dough with fudge mix and remaining cup of powdered sugar and mini morsels.
Transfer the mixture to the greased baking tin and level the batter. Top with little more mini morsels if required.
Wrap with a plastic sheet and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
Once done, cut into pieces of desired sizes.
SERVING:
