Cinnamon buns



This video is about making home made Cinnamon Buns.
Warm milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Fast rising yeast 1⁄2 Ounce (2 packets)
Butter stick 2 (room temperature)
Eggs 3 (room temperature)
Sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (room temperature)
Flour 5 Cup (80 tbs) (plus extra for dusting/ flouring the working surface)
White sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Cinnamon 3 Tablespoon
Raisin 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Chopped walnut 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Confectioners’ sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Heavy whipping cream 3 Tablespoon




Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Grease baking pan with butter.

In a mixer, combine warm milk, yeast, butter sticks, eggs, sour cream and mix well.
Gradually add flour to the mixer and mix well. Once the ingredients blend well, knead the dough as shown in the video.
Flour the working surface and knead the dough with hands.
Place the dough ball in a greased bowl, cover with a towel and allow to rise for an hour in a warm place.
Flour the working surface again and roll out the dough to a square shape.
In a bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar. Add raisins and chopped walnuts to this mixture and mix well.
Spread the cinnamon mixture over the top of rolled dough (1 inch away from edges). Cut the dough into strips and roll as shown in the video.
Place the rolls in greased baking pan, cover with towel and allow to rise under heating lamps.
Pop into oven and bake at 350°F for 1 hour until the top turns brown.
For topping, combine confectioners’ sugar, whipping cream and mix well.
Once done, allow to cool for 5 minutes and spread the prepared topping on the top of buns.
