Christmas Snow Cookies


  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (at room temperature)
  Confectioners sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1 Tablespoon
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1 Pinch
For the icing 
  Confectioners sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Heavy whipping cream 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Purple food coloring 4 Drop

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

2. Using a stand mixer, cream together butter, confectioners sugar and vanilla extract, until creamy.
3. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and slowly stir in the flour and salt.
4. Take out the dough from the mixing bowl and knead for a few seconds.
5. Using a scoop, take out the dough and place over the ungreased cookie sheet.
6. Bake in the oven for 8 – 10 minutes.
7. Meanwhile prepare the icing – using a stand mixer, mix together all the ingredients except the food color, until smooth.
8. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl and add in the purple food coloring. Mix well.
9. Take out the cookies from the oven and let it cool.

10. Spread the icing over the cookies.

11. Serve cookies with tea or coffee.
